Access
A double storey needs scaffold. A house tight against a boundary or behind mature planting needs it threaded rather than run straight. Neither is optional and both cost real money.

Colour change
Dark over light, or light over dark, often needs an extra coat to cover properly. Staying within a shade of the existing colour is the cheapest decision available to you.

What is actually included
The cheapest quote often excludes eaves, gutters, the back fence or the garage. Ours names each elevation and what it covers, so you can compare like with like.
