What this page covers
This explains what happens to information you send us through signaturefinishgroup.com.au. It is written in plain English rather than legal language, and it describes what the site actually does rather than what a template says it might.

What we collect
Only what you type into the quote form: your name, email address, phone number, your suburb, the kind of work you are asking about, your rough timing, and whatever you write in the message box.
Nothing on this site asks for payment details, identity documents or anything comparable, and we will never ask for them by email.
We do not have accounts, logins or passwords. There is nothing to breach.
Where your enquiry goes
The form is delivered by a third-party service called FormSubmit, which passes the message on to our email. Your enquiry passes through their systems on the way to us, and it is subject to their handling as well as ours.
We read enquiries, reply to them, and keep them so we can find the thread later if you come back to us. We do not sell them, rent them, or pass them to anyone else for marketing.
Cookies and advertising
We run Google Ads, and the site carries Google's advertising tag. When you arrive from one of our ads, that tag sets cookies so Google can tell us whether the click led to an enquiry. It records that a conversion happened; it does not tell us who you are.
We do not use Google Analytics. We do not run a Facebook or Meta pixel. We do not build profiles of visitors, and nothing on this site tracks you across other websites on our behalf.
You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com, or block cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally either way.
Fonts
The typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means Google receives your IP address, in the same way any website you visit does. It is not used to identify you to us.
How long we keep things
Enquiries stay in our email until they are no longer useful, which for a quote that did not go ahead is generally a couple of years. Records of work we have actually done are kept longer, because tax and warranty obligations require it — our workmanship warranty runs seven years, so we keep enough to honour it.
Seeing or deleting what we hold
Email or call and ask. We will tell you what we have, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it, unless we are required to keep it for tax or warranty reasons. There is no form and no fee.
Where the law sits
Australia’s Privacy Act generally exempts small businesses under $3 million in annual turnover, and we are well under that. So the commitments above are ones we are choosing to make rather than ones imposed on us.
We have written this to describe what genuinely happens. If you want certainty about your own obligations rather than ours, that is a question for a lawyer, not for us.
Changes
If we add a tracking tool, change how the form is delivered, or start doing anything else with your information, this page changes first. It does not get quietly updated after the fact.
